Hungarian Card

The Hungarian Card offers foreigners a new option for obtaining a residence permit in Hungary. This status is available to the following categories:

• Company executives and managers;
• Entrepreneurs who own their own businesses;
• Qualified professionals working for Hungarian companies under employment contracts and performing professional duties.

The card is issued to foreign nationals for a period of up to 3 years, allowing them to conduct business or work within Hungary. After three years of residence in the country, a foreign national may apply for permanent residency (PR) and, subsequently, for Hungarian citizenship.

This immigration option is considered one of the fastest and most convenient ways to move to Hungary, offering the opportunity not only to obtain PR and citizenship but also to reunite with family.
